So, i played the Mafia II Demo and what can i say. Fucking amazing. Graphics could be better(360) but the story is awesome.

I'll have to check out the demo. I really liked the first game.

this is a game I've been looking forward to for months, but I have read mixed reviews since it's release earlier this week. I'm on the fence about buying it now, as it seems its pretty short and has little replayability (okay, that isn't a word is it? lol). Apparently the story is very linear with little to do aside from the actual missions. That being said I will probably rent it in a few weeks when I have some time, probably could finish it up in a rental or 2.

Sounds like a rental to me.

yeah the game is very short...kind of disappointing

i don't give a shit on reviews for me the game is great. atmosphere and the characters are great. and thats why i bought this game. can't remember when i last played a game with a good story. i think it was fahrenheit about 5 years ago..

With NHL 11 coming out tuesday, i think I'll wait on Mafia 2. That being said I'll for sure play it. I'll probably pick up a used copy after I'm bored with NHL, and price has come down a bit, or maybe ask Santa around xmas, lol. For sure will play this at some point though, as I love games with a great story as well

yeah i played the demo it looked pretty cool, but it has a GTA feel to it, and i never really got into those games, or Scarface, which was pretty cool but not my type of game
