OK now the BETA tournaments are now almost over, what was your impression of the system

My biggest drawback was some of my fights vanished, and the fact that you could do as many fights with the same guy, that will lead to boosting, hopefully they put a limit on the amount of times you can fight the same guy

I've heard the same issues on the official forums too. Being able to fight the same guy over and over is not good, and as you said will lead to boosting and the same two people dominating tourney after tourney after tourney. I still believe the best way to do a tournament is to make brackets and make the matches for the competitors.

I also heard about fights vanishing. I heard some guys go 4-0 (correct record), then end up 6-2 but the sheet says they are 2-0.

I think the tourney has a ton of potential, and I am sure to be entering the real tournament but they better straighten up the matchmaking system (make brackets) for the real deal.

it was just a BETA so hopefully those issues will be resolved
